Thanksgiving Day

Today is thanksgiving today. I woke up bright and early to feed the homeless at a shelter in Miami, Florida. After, feeding the homeless i gave out copies of Nat King Cole's and Ella Fitzgerald's Christmas album to most of the kids at the shelter. Because i did not have any copies i played many songs for the children at the shelter. The looks of joyful faces will forever be in my mind. I feel so inspired by all those wonderful kids who were so positive.

Purpose In Life

Everyone has a purpose in life. My entire life i have always loved to help people. Because of my kind heart I am determined to become an attorney to help the children who have no voice.Children need people they can look up to to guide them and this is why I am creating Children's Melody Mentoring. I just want children to understand that anything can be achieved with hard work and determination.

Music and My Life

Ever since I can remember music has always been a part of my life. Music has never turned its back on me. I recall being 7 years old singing with the mop in my back yard to Janet Jackson's If from the Janet Album. With the Children's Mentoring program children in Miami will have the chance to let the power of music to change their lives. Music made me dream big.

Making A Difference

Music is the foundation of my life. Without music I would be lost forever.Today, November 3, 2011, I am introducing Children's Melody Mentoring to Miami, which will be a non- profit organization dedicated to mentoring under privilege children through music.I am starting with little resources, but I am determined to make Children's Melody Mentoring a reality. I am urging anyone involved with music to get involved and tell your story on how music has impacted your life.

The Power Of Music

The power of music is endless.The inspiration that music has bought to me is endless. Even at my darkest hour music brings me happiness. Sadly many children today are not exposed the different geres of music.My goal with Children's Melody Mentoring is to expose young minds to the power of music.Every child deserves to reap the benefits that music has to offer. Today, starts a new journey.
